General / tire question
Last post by chas - Today at 03:30:18 AM
Hi All- I decided to change my own tires so I didnt have to deal with the busy bike shop! I got the new tire on the new rim,and filled it with a burst of 100 psi! I was waiting to hear the pop of both seats but never happened!I put the valve back in and filled to 41 psi. My concern is about not hearing the pops! The tire looks good like it seated evenly all around the rim. I sprayed soapy water on both sides of the tire and didnt see any bubbles on either side. Can I assume that the tire is good to go? Some have said that some tires dont make the pop, but they are seated. What are your thoughts? Should I trust that its good to go? Many thanks in advance- Chas

Any brand can have their failures, pick a reputable company, QA likely better there.
