Title: Ironhead custom
Post by: friday on January 12, 2021, 03:54:12 PM

Anyone able to identify the headlight, wheels, 4 speed transmission, primary cover, kick arm, kick segment, idler, stroke plates ?

The forks, frame, tanks and oil tank are home grown. fenders modified re-pops

Stroke plates indicate HD rods and pistons, so 61" is not physically possible. about 50 % of "Crocker's" have HD rods stuffed into them.

Is that the Delaware river ?

OK I'm not expert, not even close. But my feeble recollection is that Crockers were based on the Indian Scout. Weren't they?

By the way, what indicates this is a 4 speed?

its a Iron-head box, Crocker and Xl both have 59T clutch.

Its not the only custom, this 1936 motor 36-61-10, "special #10" on the tank, has XL trans,
