Title: 124" carbed T/C
Post by: Hillside Motorcycle on August 20, 2021, 03:21:48 AM
Jesse, at Busted Knuckles in Walnut Grove, NC, just tuned one of our carbed 124"s to 154 ft/lbs and 159 hp in less than favorable conditions to say the least.
200 psi ccp, with a Super Stock casting as a platform.
Customer is "happy".

And those are SuperFlow numbers. DJ250i numbers would be slightly higher.

Final numbers were 161 ft/lbs and 158 hp, with a very strong delivery, which is not akin to how a .640 presents itself.
Our S&S Superstock Stage II Heads, S&S .640, S&S D carb, 2 Thunderjets, 11.7 cr, D&D Borezilla, DTT ignition.
We now have set up 5 bikes in that area with semi-similar combos, and another client from the Southern tier of NY, that had a set of "ported" S&S castings on his 124".
