I have looked all over my shop manual, but I can't seem to find the torque spec for the long bolt that goes thru the middle of the front (rubber) motor mount on my 2000 FLHRI. I found all the specs for the bolts that attach the mount to the frame, and the bracket to the motor, but for some reason I can't find the torque spec for that long bolt. I assume too tight is as bad as too loose... so what do the resident experts say?
TIA,
Garry
I'm no expert, but I did stay at an Holiday Inn Express one night. On my '03 the bolt should be torqued 35 - 45 ft. lbs. Hope this helps.

Thanks John!

I think it is 15-20ft-lbs at least according to the alignment tool instructions, that is.

Look under Vehicle Alignment Procedures for your model year.
My '02 Touring book states 35-45 ft=lbs.
Thanks everyone! I've got it dialed in now.

My 05' HD service manual says the center bolt should be torqued 15-20ft-lbs
