Title: Source for Shifter Bushings
Post by: turboprop on February 21, 2012, 03:10:24 AM
Working on the old shovel. The bushings in the shift side forward control are practically gone. Short of making them myself, anyone know a source for them? -Ed

PS - ordered a new set of heads from STD last week, should be here any day. Will post pics when they arrive.

Very often at the shop I run into very sloppy shifters. Most of the time it's worn out bronze bushings. I can get almost every one of them at my local hardware store. I usually have to size them myself but they are very good replacements. I prefer the impregnated bronze bushings over plain.
