Post by: roadkingdresser on February 28, 2021, 04:21:29 AM
Can someone tell me the difference in s/e heads 17015-08-17016-08 and the 17067-08a-17069-08a for a twin cam. Thanks

17015-08 & 17016-08 are the casting numbers, found on 110+ heads. 17067-08a & 17069-08a are part numbers for the heads offered in the SE 103 Stage IV kit, also known as the SE 110+ Heads.

They were the base head before being CNC milled to make the MVA. Nothing to write home about out of the box and ported either those heads or just standard CVO 110 heads will work great, potential to work better than the MVA, assuming the rest of parts are matched.

As a heads up, the larger CC's of the combustion chamber needs to be considered when matching components.
