Title: Putting road glide front end on a tri glide

Was wondering if I swap out the front end of a tri glide to a road glide, triple tree tree and all, will the steering dampener still fit on the different front tubes ?, if anyone has done it , are there problems in doing the swap?

I'd keep the trike trees, for stock rake & trail.
I've seen a few guys with RG trikes, so it's do-able.
