Title: 1999 M2 Cyclone

 Looking at one for a winter project.Found one that has been sitting since 2004.Needs tires,battery,Carb work 8K miles.What it worth as is?

Not much, frankly but consider this- after a winter of love and attention and a few rides to get the bugs worked out, the grins that bike will give you are priceless!

I passed up an '02 M2 a couple of years ago that was nearly perfect. It had only sat a year and I was able to test ride it. It was a charcoal color with an orange frame and orange piping on the seat. She wouldn't come down to $4400 so I passed. I'm still kikin myself in the butt for passing up that bike.   

Don't make the mistake of considering a Buell for the investment. They are simply not a good investment. The value of a Buell lies with the rider. It's worth much more than money. These bikes were built for people who really love to ride and once sorted out, they fulfill that purpose exquisitely.
