Title: Evo motor mount ?
Post by: otter814 on February 15, 2020, 06:45:10 AM
Are all evo mounts the same! For example with a 1994 Softail engine fit a fly frame ? I know the transmission is different but is the engine the same?

Yep, all of the alternator BT motors from shovel up through EVO are same.
TC mounted the trans to the back of the motor, but the left side stayed the same and I think an adapter plate can be used to hang it in an early frame.

Just remember late 92 up are all top breathers and anything before is a bottom breather so you may need to change bolts in the head.
You don't want to put solid bolts in a top breather  :potstir:
