Title: radio goes mute

2012 limited radio  goes  mute  faceplate  still  lite up  like  everything  is  normal  turn  it  off  and  on  comes  back  on sometimes  for  a  while  sometimes  a few  seconds  or not  at  all ,  bumpy road  or smooth  doesn't  matter  a friend  with  a  2011 has  same  problem .  Anyone  have  this  problem , how  did  you  fix it ?

Probably the amp chip. Common issue with the HK radio. Some options are after market replacement or Ironcrossaudio.com for repair of yours. They offer a $165 repair option through eBay or I believe it's $240 through their website. Put this number 141774600929 into the eBay search box to find their listing.
The amp chip costs about $5 if you have the tools and skill to replace yourself. It's the big upright chip at top of pic.

The sound board inside is broken, I had same problem and sent it to Ironcross audio  in N.C. Give them a call.

Kinda late but just saw your post. I get them in 2 pack on eBay for under $15 shipped outta Texas. Do a search for TDA7563.
