looking at a Sinister Sound system, 2013 Street Glide. Fairing only system. I'm doing a speaker/amp upgrade, unsure on doing the radio as well. kenwood KMR-M322BT Marine radio. They would do the install. Opinions on my plans??
I did a little research into a boxed fairing setup. Purchased a set of enclosures (no speakers included) for a late model bike at $38 that doesn't fit the non equipped earlier models to be clear. From 80hz to 130hz the enclosure does have more volume than the open baffle design but after that its hard to tell the difference. Most audio shops will coat the inner fairing with some sort of sound deadner to help out from loss of sound energy. Do they have engine running comparison bikes to listen to? For the $ their asking it would be interesting to hear your feed back.
