Title: rideing
Post by: garyajaz on May 05, 2016, 08:45:34 AM
Buell fun.
put the dyna away after a month straight.
drug out the Buell.
its so much more fun.
ok, not as comfy.
been having a blast (excuse the pun)
been rideing the XB a week now.
doing second gear wheelies, all that.

even took to my favorite deserted back two lane and ran it up to 130 MPH.
ahem, a sporty type guy could get in some trouble.
also noticed I hurt  more in mornings.  oh well.
put on new tires and brakes. this bike been super trouble free.
just tires, oil changes , brakes and battery in the last 5 years I owned it

I also going to drag out ironhead this week and kick on it some.
its also a fun ride. but I will hurt much more.

do that for 2 weeks and put iron away for another year.
or maybe in fall.
HELL, sometimes referred to as summer, coming next month.

hope all your Buell's up and running
and may you have a good ride.

Hoss ...reading of your ride across the pond sounds like you also having good time.
I have been to Europe several times. had a car.
was working on tunnel race boats.
(no, not boats that race in tunnels)
always wanted to rent a duck and ride the alps.

hummmm.  maybe next year. and I have heard of that tour company over the years.

Now I just had to read you had the Buell up to 130, racing the Vic (me on a Soft ail) I was at 112 and thought I was doing good. And then the handle bars started a rapid gee and haw so I kinda respect your hi speed skills.
