Title: Carbed 80" EVO didn't like cold much either
Post by: RKC03 on December 02, 2008, 02:44:27 PM
Rode my FXSTC yesterday, 31 degrees, coughed and sputtered, slow in picking up speed on the Superslab....thinking it was the cold....still spitting and sputtering after riding ~20 miles at 70 mph....was thinking of performance modifications this winter, but how can you "dial it in" after doing modifications if cold has such a effect....What temperature does it need to be know "whatcha got" ?  What about humidity?  Have rode in the early morn to work when air "heavy" with moisture.....Seems like everyone uses wintertime as time to tear-down/build-up....so what's up?   RKC03
