Title: Drilled Brake Calipers
Post by: crock on December 01, 2020, 01:14:34 AM
I ran acrossTHIS (https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/105563469477858/?ref=notif&hoisted_items=1490832904438987) and was wondering why? They look kinda neat but would drilling the holes serve any functional reason for it?

The link brings me to a bunch of stuff for sale in the marketplace. No calipers.

I find it a bit hard to believe that those early "ABS-calipers", ran the risk of overheating, so my guess would be for looks.

Indeed. I'd put that in the "exercise in futility" category...
