Soo....whats the story about the confusion regarding these lifters? Which one is good? And how to identify the good one?
The Johnson Hylift are better. :teeth:
If you buy the 2313SE you'll se an oil ring groove around the circumference of the lifter for pin oiling.
There are some other differences but this is the most obvious. Makes it simple.
There's a vendor here that sells them. Buy them from him to be sure.
I bought mine from that vendor beginning of January on here. Finally got around to getting everything together and fired the bike up today. Lifters are nice and quiet. I primed and installed them a couple of weeks ago.. must not have leaked down much because start up after oil pump being disassembled and sitting for a while was very quiet.
I am sort of an old street rodder. Tappet noise was never a good thing and I hated to hear it. Got into building my bike a few years back and first engine I built for it was a 107. Went with a gear drive and S&S lifters, that lasted about 500 miles and the valve train noise drove me nuts.
I pulled the gear drive out and went back to chain but still ran the S&S lifters. The noise died down but for me there was still too much tappet noise. Hated it. So then I decided to build a 110 and did some research on lifters and came across the Johnson Hylift on here and read that they were great.
Talked with the vender on here and decided to order a set up and wow, I am glad I did. Love how the engine sounds now with no tappet noise. Sounds like what an engine should sound like.
Johnson Hylift lifter and Rocker lockers are the only way to go.

Who is the vendor that sells them ?
I switched. All I use now are lifters from WFO Larry.
John
Just got a set of those from Larry. Haven't installed them yet but they sure look nice lol. I'm glad to hear that everybody who has them likes them. Looking forward to seeing if they reduce any of my top end noise. Buy from the man himself so you know what you're getting.
Another happy Larry's Lifters customer here
Thanks for the comeback gentlemen.
What is the difference between and what does the L represent?

The "L" is for travel limiters
Does these lifters come in oversizes as well?
(Sorry, read your message at the vendor board and found out)
All of your answers are on Larry's web site
