Title: xb9s
Post by: garyajaz on September 22, 2011, 01:50:35 PM
cant ride it anymore.
even when i could position hurt ol arthtic wrist.
now hand is toast .thinking of letting it go to good home.
2003, very nice, low miles. new diablo tires and ebc brakes.
new fork bushings and seals.
really fun bike.
just kicking idea around. havent put on for sale forum yet.
am in mesa az area.  used it as 3rd bike/canyon carver.
old iron head for in town and dyna for over 100 mile rides.
hate to let it go. but if some one local wants a toy, maybe sell.
(or you all could talk me into keeping it)

ironhead will go into living room as a static lamp shade.
old restored race bikes will be collection stuff.
2000 dyna will keep till sure cant ride anymore.
thing is with  buell it hurt to ride prior to hand problems.
arthtitus and wrist position kept my rides under 75/100 miles.

yeah pan dan.  they are fun.
guy here has a nice vette he wants to trade.
there are 5 buells for sale here on craigs list.
and 355 vetts.
hummm.  looks like i might be on to something.
no vettes selling .
would be a sporty vehicle like buell, just with heater and seats and a roof.
(removable roof at that)

I had to go for a Uly as I'm too big for the other Buells, shame it difficult for you to ride but I don't think practical or comfort was in the design brief. The guy I got my Road Glide from in Austin TX had to stop riding he has a Vette now.

bought the vett.   very fun ride.
have had Z-28 in past but this thing HANDLES.
and yeah, i kept the buell.
its metalic red and the local cops just waiting for  me to drop hammer.
(small town)  i use the cruise control in town even.
on hiway way to easy to go from 70 to 110 with a twitch of the right foot.

No sweat      but a question for you.  A friend has a Bultaco Sherpa in for a paint job and is trying to locate the round tank badges for it.  Do you know where to get them ?

yes, we have several.
there are different types.
decal, glue on raised solid ones
and a really sharp stick on raised relief one.

we had some decals made for the bandito.
have bag of other real ones.
oh also some different sizes.

that is a really nice example of the trail bike.  is it the one?

we also had some vinal ones printed up with the thumb for tail secton of elbandito. and some for the pursang which were way different.

p.m. me.  i will go by barn later and maybe take pix of what we have.  my partner been painting a few lately.

next project is ridgid frame short track sprint.
we been putting off cause finished up 2 bull, 2 montessas,. and a ossa.
i want to get the little piglett up and running..
