Post by: rking1550 on April 08, 2020, 01:22:24 PM
Thinking about a new speedo. Looking @ the Dakota digital mlx 2000.
Just wondering  if anyone has used it ? And thoughts on it ?

I have had one on my Deuce for probably about 10 years now.  I would get one again.

I installed one on my 91 FLHTCU still using a cable drive to spin the "reader"

No issues, 6 yrs now

Dakota has always put out a quality product, their new 2014 and up bagger gauges are really neat.

I have their new MLX in my 2013 RoadGlide. The four pack, as I use two holes for tweeters. Haven't been on the road yet but the huge number of color choices and color combos for information is great. I love the auto dim function, at least in the garage. Using only two small gauges I can split those two gauges into four info points. For example the right gauge gives me oil pressure and oil temp and the left Side fuel and voltage.
