Gentlemen its has been awhile since I have been on and hope all is well with everyone. I have been doing a lot of M-8's out of my shop but getting ready to do a stock 2012 103" Touring cam change. my question is what is the latest "Bolt in" cam for bottom end to midrange power for mostly group riding for long peroids of time? Decated header pipe with slip on mufflers and a high flow air cleaner kit. I have alwys had good luck with the 57H and when I was at the HD dealership we did a lot of them but like I said its been awhile since i have been on forums to see what is current from the experts. I was thinking the Andrews 48H or the S&S 570 as a option, thank you in advance. fuJD

Hi Wes  There's been a few 103 additions to the Dyno section using some of the new revised cam versions.  The CR and Tman stuff seems worth the look.

Daren and others have used the CR575s a lot with good results.

Durwood has experienced great results with the Cycle Rama 570, also 575 but with added compression of course.  Welcome back...

In my research for 103 bolt ons I found a pretty good short list:

A48
TTS100
Woods222
CR570-2
TR555

Can't beat the A48 for the price.

Love the TTS100s in my 17 FLSTC. With Stage 1 intake, D&D fatcat 2/1 and PV tune it pulls hard from 2k up.

I like the Andrews 57, and there's still room to grow with them if "Biko-Boredom" sets in.

I've got a couple buddies using the Andrew's 48 in pre Rushmore 103s both very happy. Rode one myself pulls real nice. Probably as strong is my king when it was 95"  with the t-man 625.

Fuel Moto is doing a big test right now for bolt in cams for stock 103s.  They are trying like 18 cams or something like that....

They're going to find the Cyclerama 570-2's beat everything, closely followed by the 222's and then either the 100-ts or the A48's. Just a prediction

and they all are within 2HP and 2 ftlbs of each other, so any of them are a good choice! :potstir:
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

Will Fuelmoto post the results hear on the cam test results?

It seem you rarely here about S&S cams. Had the S&S MR103 cam installed in my 2014 Rushmore along with a Screaming Eagle stage one air filter and Supertrap Supermeg exhaust. Tuned with Powervision.  Quiet valve train. 96.57 HP 115.28 TQ. Runs great for no other engine work.  [attach=1]

That MR103 cam is an unsung hero, with almost identical results, Al.
We have used it here on several occasions in 107" engines, with cylinder head work.
Great results have been witnessed.

I've had a Red Shift 525 in my 2008 FXSTC turned 103.  Made the change in 2012 and it turned a shift frantic commute into a pleasant ride.
