Title: Harley narrow-profile primary cover
Post by: mayor on May 24, 2020, 10:49:46 AM
I must have been living under a rock.  I just stumbled across the narrow-profile primary part earlier today while searching for something else.  I'm considering buying one of these for my '12 RKC to give my wife an easier time while she's riding that bike.  Does anyone know if the 25700385 primary come with the oil drip scoop?

Anyone install this on their touring bike? Did it make it more comfortable reaching the ground at a stop?

Mike, they do have the cast in scoop.

I can't really comment on the better reach to the ground as my feet are about a foot away from the bike when I'm stopped.

I've bought quite a few on eBay as takeoffs, gotten some really good deals on them. Makes testing for your wife's ground reach a little less costly.

The narrow primaries have been around for years... my '15 Limited Low came with one. They do help with being vertically challenged... your leg does more down, less out. Narrower seat helps too for the same reason.
