If you can find it, Mike Roland did some excellent testing on TB size, here on HTT. Been awhile though.

Has anyone used the evolution industries compensator spring kit?  I have the SE comp and I was wondering if this kit would be quieter yet.

I guess I would start by trying to understand if your TB is a bottleneck or not. Who ever tuned it would be the best person to ask that.

Also the SE58mm TB moves some decent air. Below is the dyno sheet for the 117" that No Cents built, making 136 horsepower and 127 torque. That motor ran great, I know because I put about 40k miles on it. I've also seen 124" motors make decent power with the SE58mm.

A larger TB may add some torque and HP in the curve, but I doubt it would raise the HP or torque totals unless the TB you have is restrictive.

I'm not advocating for the belt over chain. That being said,
There's successful Harley drag racers out there still using belts.

Can't comment on flow. I have a HPI. 55/58 that's a few years old.
Jimmy told me the 55mm with the 58mm manifold helps with the flow.
Mine also has 1.8 runners        Coff 06
