Title: Cool Flow Fan
Post by: Tommy D on October 16, 2020, 12:22:18 PM
Is this needed if a bike is properly tuned ? Or would it be a supplement to cooling

Supplement, Tune makes the engine happy and efficient, but it's still an engine between your legs...

Strictly for rider/passenger comfort from the heat off the pipe. A tune does help, the fan is definitely a noticeable improvement.

I have a comprehensive tune. It cooled the bike down a lot. My fiancé even noticed it as she didn't have red marks on her legs anymore even when sitting in traffic. I still added Love Jugs Mighty Mite fans for the inevitable times where we get stuck in accident/construction traffic. Which if you do a lot of long distance trips....is very often.

With the fans, I have noticed the bike doesn't kick down to one cylinder nearly as easily so I know they are having an effect. Just a little insurance that if anything, is worth the peace of mind to me.
