Post by: chas on March 12, 2020, 05:33:52 AM
I want to change out my charging system on my 03 ultra, so should i remove stator, rotor, regulator and get the part numbers so i can re order or just trust that the replacements for that year and model will work? Thanks in advance-Chas

Cycle Electric has the correct replacements.  Call Calif. Phil (vendor section) and he can get you hooked-up.

The Cycle Electric 3 phase is a really good upgrade for your 2003.

:agree:  and if you're doing an upgrade yourself  ......

REMEMBER to blow out the oil/cleaning fluid from the stator mounting holes on the crankcase else you may hydraulic a screw and bust through to the inside

Thanks all for advising the cycle electric charging system. Looks like the way to go,as the best upgrade! Will I need to install 60 amp fuse to  satisfy the 54 amp output at 2500rpms?
