I know nothing about oil pumps but I was wondering if I could use the same cam plate that come with my 19 RGS with Harley's new improved oil pump that comes on all the 2020 or do I have to order a different one?.

Yes you can use the existing oem camplate with the 2020 oil pump. The camplate is compatible.
