Title: 85 FXR pipe
Post by: Prostock on September 10, 2019, 11:02:05 AM
Any recommendations for a performance pipe, 2-1, for a 85 FXR with a S&S 113 crate motor.

A ThunderHeader is my fave.

As I recall this is a Dyna pipe and does not clear mid controls perfectly, needs a small dent or a small spacer under the front motor mount. So I have removed my mids. My forward controls are Kuryakyn.

Primary tubes are too short for optimum at street RPMs.
Look at the length difference on my T/H.
I sold my ProPipe after I installed the T/H.
Pro pipe is very similar to the RB pipe.
