Title: Looking for Stock Pushrods
Post by: fzee on March 28, 2012, 04:47:11 PM
I had great help in finding my rocker cover/motor mount bolts!!  Thanks!    Hopefully I have the same luck with this request!!  All of the aftermarket pushrods are too large of diameter.  They ones I have rub badly on the inside of the upper pushrod tube.  Don't know what happened to the originals but I would sure like to aquire a set!!  Thanks! :soda:

Andrews makes them in stock 7/16" diameter in moly steel or aluminum.
Moly #240040
Aluminum #240060

i have long ones in mine (stroker)
i know i have a couple sets in storage.
also will be cleaning out storage next month.  bringing all home to new shed.
sooo, if cant find keep us posted.
i would not want to spend hours hunting there if you can find them for $6.  lol.   but when moving and i see them would take them out for you.
if i mention anything ironhead to my dealer parts guy just laughs.
(other one dont know what a iron head is)
