Title: 2003 FLHTCUI Speakers
Post by: randyman on October 19, 2018, 08:30:36 PM
I rarely ride my 2003 Ultra and it is very original with less than 15000 miles on it.  The speakers are shot.  I'm looking for replacements but they must be designed for the bike.  I think there is an issue with OHM rating?  I am leaning towards Hog Tunes as I have used there speakers in the past.  I do not want to change my factory stereo or add an amp.  Is there an inexpensive alternative?

Hogtunes are great stock replacement speakers.  They will be perfect for your 2003.

I had Hogtunes on my 2004 Ultra, as a speaker upgrade. They were great!

I emailed Hog Tunes for some advice about a month ago.  Apparently they don't want my business. They never responded.

I could be mistaken but I think Drag Specialties handles Hog Tune speakers....and as you probably already know one has to order for year specific...  perhaps a phone call might work better than e-mail...hope this helps you out... http://www.hogtunes.com/contact.php (http://www.hogtunes.com/contact.php)

Yes, ohms are important. 2 ohms are used in '98-'13 (?) Harleys.
