Title: Enough voltage???
Post by: 89 fxrs on September 11, 2016, 12:39:19 PM
I'm thinking about installing some day makers on my 2013 Road Glide, as well as a Biketronics amp and speaker upgrade along with a HD hidden power antenna - will the stock charging system be able to handle all these options ,  or would a more powerful system be needed?

stock charging system will be more than adequate for your upgrades.

keep in mind the daymaker will draw significantly less power than the standard incandescent headlights on your bike now.

You will be fine with stock charging system. The oem incandescent headlight is much more than any led headlight. For the longest time I ran 2 amps and a incandescent headlight with no troubles.
