Title: One piece Vs stock starter jackshaft?
Post by: twincam8888 on November 08, 2020, 12:07:05 PM
I have a Big Dog with a S&S 107" closed primary and a 9 tooth/66 tooth starter gears. I had a lot of "grinding noise" start recently and the stock style jackshaft  assembly is not receding and seems to be binding, It seems to sometimes bind even sliding it manually with the starter removed. Have any of you used the one piece jackshafts? I'm going to put something new in there and wondered about trying the one piece jackshafts. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
