Title: '97 Heritage - Different wheel bearing seal sizes?
Post by: Molly on January 23, 2021, 01:25:13 AM
Hi guys. Long time since I've posted.

Working my way through a nice '97 Heritage I got a few weeks ago. Just looked at the wheel bearing kits I bought and noticed the seals are too small for the front wheel. I don't have the parts book for this bike and wondered if one of you guys could give me the part number for the front seals so I can use it to cross-reference the aftermarket?

Thanks in advance.

Stuff gets exchanged, traded, swapped around. Are they ball bearings or Timken ?
Also, there will be a bearing number on the bng, and usually a number on the old seal?

The stock seal is p/n 47519-83A. Most of the aftermarket HD suppliers offer equivalent versions.
