Changing a tire on a 2008 FXDF, when I took the axle out the nut was on the right hand (rear  brake) and the axle came out the left hand (shifter) side. Looking at the picture in Ronnie's it shows the opposite way. It's my old bike and I gave the guy the manual but he can't find it. Anyone know how it should go? Thanks

John

It goes in from the brake (rotor) side but I think some flip them to make tire changes easier.

Thanks, I don't see that it would make much difference. The right hand spacer is fouled up and I was looking at Ronnie's to get a part number then saw that and wondered if that is why it was fouled up. Thanks again.

I switched mine so I don't have to fight the exhaust.

me too,  At first tire change
Got a case of dynamite, I could hold out here all night

Earlier in it's life the right rear bearing failed. That probably caused the fouled up spacer. Thanks again
