Either way, I'm jealous you have room for more bikes, and that you are thinking about getting more bikes.
I have room for more bikes, but the wife doesn't have room for her car if I do. I haven't quite talked her into that scenario yet.

so just go ahead and kick the dirt over me.
was on roof fixing a flood light on toy. right off not bright for a beat up 68 year old...
fell off,
crawled into house to do a 911 thing, took stock, nothing broke.
just feel like been worked over by a base ball team with their bats.
so did not call.  911 is for when bones are sticking out, in my world.

last couple days living/ sleeping in recliner. dog looking hungry so I had to get out my ol wheelchair to feed him.
then back to no motion.
no turkey for me unless one flys in and dies on my knees.
all these toys and here I sit.  wonderful.

well, the rest of you ironheads have a great day and a better dinner.

DAmn Gary, that's why ya pay some teenage kid to do that stuff for ya! Glad to hear nothing broken, that would really suck. Happy thanksgiving, guess you're gonna be thankful you're not in the hospital!

Been looking at my roof, gutters need attention and all that.  My beat up 68 yr old body is urging caution, but being less than sensible, when I get over the flu I will get up there.  Severe shortage of usable teenagers willing to do anything around here.  Glad you sort of survived.  I'll try not to follow your example of a shortcut down.   :emoGroan:

thanks guys, up and limping with cane around stiff this morning. but am UP. (well, sorta)

I did get dinner.  I called a family that takes me in for such.
told them I could not come to t-day but thanks.

later that evening several of them came over with a huge plate and spent some time/company  while I devoured it.
pounds be damn for one day a year.   I did not cook or eat during chair isolation.
dog food looked pretty good but mutt did not share.

drifter, yeah, its actually not the short cut/fall.
its that damn sudden stop.  yep, get a kid.
problem here is no kids. I live in what seems to be a 85+ community. (well 55 actually) but they all call me the "kid" with the motorcycles.
will force self to get out and around and loosen up some.

still haven't removed  that new S&S E from sporty and checked jet sizes and stuff..  maybe next week.
kick start it?  ah, not for a while.

Really glad to hear you didn't break your neck. Hope the healing goes quick. Ibuprofen sure seems to be more of the regular intake as we I get older.
I have found it helps to just hire out certain jobs.
Might just have to find a handyman to help with chores like that. If you find a good one, your neighbors might be very interested in hiring him also. Or, they already have one, you could check with them.
Good luck!

took a couple pills this am.
mutt and I went to Harley shop for hogs and dogs day.
I limped around a little.
mutt had a great time wandering around getting pet and fed.
all is well. I now home with a pint of rum and in for the day.

I fixed gen, it was easy but ready to catch fire,
redid all new propane, took care of little inside stuff, regulator and hoses.
all that. everything works on house
power.
gen is fine. last test is soap bubble all new propane and test inside appliances,'then add wheel chocks to store at least the buell  .

been pushing  self to get it done its how I am.
I 'will use it for garage this winter,
but next summer if it all rolls down road will take for a few weeks in  Colorado come july,
