Converting 04 fly ultra to closed loop with blue tts. What starter map to use for a mild low compression 95"? Any other pointers?

pz176 seemed to be the best I found for my 04 Fatboy

Take a look through the "176" level cals.  Appendix A of the TTS tuning guide shows the required parts and connections.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Customer got it all wired and tried a dyna 176 map and it had a vin error, TTS blue. Any suggestions?

Why a Dyna cal for a FL? I would try a FL cal. I have TTS running a 176 cal in my 05 RK converted to closed loop, Vic did it for me about 10 years ago and it was no problem at all.

Don tried to PM you, could you check that?

I just noticed this is an 04, did he confirm the part number on the ECM? most 04's run early ECMs that will not support CL. A guy I ride with has a 04 RK and Vic had to up date him with a used  07 ECM to add the Closed loop and run a 176 cal.

Ensure the ECM is for a 2005 or newer. Best if it has a VIN for a 2007 Touring.
(Or procure or borrow an ECM form a 2007 Touring)
Flash in a PZ176 (CPZ176) cal and tune from there.
Considering a power upgrade?
First and foremost, focus on your tuning plan.

This is all doable, thanks. Guess he will need a new TTS license. Thanks to all!
