Purchased Tools / Motion Pro Sprocket Jammer
Last post by Ohio HD - Today at 01:46:56 PM
I saw this tool and had to have it. It allows you to jam the rear sprocket and chain to remove sprocket bolts, or the countershaft sprocket nut. Only thing about it is it's aluminum, so you wouldn't want to pound on it with impact tools unless you are holding good tension on the chain to keep it tight.

It works with 520, 525 and 530 chains.

Just some additional info. These are the three parts you would need to retain from your original transmission to put in a 2010 and newer six speed.

2006 to 2009 original part - 35470-06   COUNTERSHAFT ASSEMBLY
2006 to 2009 original part - 35801-06   GEAR, FIFTH INPUT
2006 to 2009 original part - 35201-06   GUIDE HUB, DOG RING

I found 35201-06 at a US HD dealer. The 35801-06 I found at an HD dealer in Wales UK. The 35470-06 countershaft I found a used one in great shape from a crashed 2008 RK. There are none in the USA or Canada.

So a newer transmission, 2010 to 2016 can be used, just these three parts have to be switched over from your transmission or another early model.

Or find a 2008 to 2009 in good shape and just bolt that in.

Too bad you can't find a Cal Products inner. They don't build em any better. I screwed up and shattered my inner very early in my Shovel life and went with them. Back then they were located in Michigan.

Milwaukee-Eight / S&S Cycle 136" Crate Motor
Last post by Ohio HD - Today at 10:20:44 AM
S&S has an M8 crate motor, a 136" complete ready to roll in all blacked out. Just guessing by the dyno sheet they're probably a little conservative with the compression. That has been their typical MO with crate motors in the past. But it still looks good. I also see they have the oil feed, return and vent in the case.

But I've seen our resident tuning guru rigidthumper do a little better than that with his 131" lower compression big bore M8.    :SM:

Branch welds up the chambers & cuts them to that shape. The piston # might be theirs.

Does income also relate to the dollar exchange rate? If someone earns $63k USD, does that mean Australian earning is $100k AUS?

looks like 22571-07 (113" 10.5:1pistons, when used with CVO 110 or 110+ heads) or 22137-08 (110 10.5:1 with CVO heads or 110+ heads)
Found in a 2008 SE catalog, page 50.

Wanted to Buy or Trade / 1982 flh inner primary
Last post by Chippitt68 - Yesterday at 05:52:43 PM
I need an inner primary. I have searched the web and found several Original equipment on eBay. The reasonably priced ones ($200 to $400) mostly have repairs. I found a couple that look nice, but the sellers are way too proud of them. If anyone has any experience with the after market , I'd like to hear their opinions. I know Cal Products made a good one. None of those on the market that I can find.
