I am now a distributor for KB pistons.   https://www.uempistons.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7
They have a nice forged piston that is reasonably priced.
They also offer coated skirts by Line2Line    https://www.line2linecoatings.com/
This coating goes on thicker than others & is designed to wear in so clearances are kept to a minimum.
Soon they will be offering anodized tops & top ring groove. There is still some testing going on so it's a little ways off. More options for the builders.

Are they going to have a 3.937 offering at some point?

I'm working on that. Right now they have a .030 over [3.905]. I'm trying to get them to go up to .060 over. I have the 110 pistons in .060, .065 & .070 oversizes. I'll post any updates.

Larry, will they have pistons for 4.125" x 4.625" motors with 7.659" connecting rods?

Another one I'm working on. I make the suggestions then they take the idea to the higher ups for the decision. They decide if there's enough of a demand to make it. They don't do customs. If you have any takeouts you can send them to me & I forward it to them. If they have a blank they can make it from then the chances are better. I've been bugging them for quite a few years now. They're starting to come around.

Just got approval on this. It will be 10 - 12 weeks before they're available though.   :idunno:

They're starting to trickle in. The 107's haven't been released yet but they are testing them now in their shop bike. Here's some pictures of the 117's. Drag Specialties buys them as fast as they make them so if you're looking for them you can check there. I'm a distributor for KB but I don't have Drag's buying power. Hopefully they start stocking more part #'s so I can get my hands on them. Note the piston size on the underside of the piston. Add your clearance to this & bore/hone to size. The coating is about .010 thicker than the piston.
