Title: TMAX higher throttle position AFR settings
Post by: itsafatboy on May 15, 2021, 10:00:48 PM
So think my fatboy running to fat , i have 116" with TMaX , i have the higher throttle areas running at 12.5 to 12.8 sloping up at the lighter throttle positions , most the maps run at 13.0 ,

so is 13.0 better at WOT just dont want to run to fat to where im just dumping fuel in ,  what is a good WOT AFR setting for like 40% throttle and up

116"

Most of the engine simulators advise 12.5:1 for max horsepower. I've found very little difference in measured HP anywhere from 12.5-13.5, but more heat @ 13.5.

Mostly what I see is 12.8 at very light throttle then a lean hump, topping out at 13.8ish.  And then back to 13 flat after 1/2 throttle.

After about 4800 is should be 13 flat across the hole throttle range.
