Title: Nam vets
Post by: Phu Cat on January 04, 2009, 05:46:23 PM
If ya run across a movie in the video store called "Tropic Thunder", save your money!  It took me all of about 5 minutes to turn it off.

Was I premature, Coyote?  Did it ever get better than the first few minutes?

Phu Cat I turned it off also, kinda took offense, some things can be made fun of but a wounded soldier isn't one of them...

I wondered what Phu Cat meant, and now I see from the subject of your post!  I guess I should be "Phu Bai", but I don't think I could go through the agony of trying to change my HTT name.  I was there in 68 with the 101st!  Welcome home!

I think you'd have to be a little Dinky Dau to enjoy that movie. I saw the previews and that's all I needed to see. Like Redleg said somethings just ain't funny.

Right you are, Redleg.  What ever made the acters think we'd (anybody?) would find that humerous?  Frankly, that movie pissed me off.

Thanks, PC
Wish I'd seen the warning last week before I wasted good money to rent that POS. I took it back to BlockBuster for a refund, but,.. no-go. More Holly-weird crap!
