This guy starts it every month to keep it in prime condition? Ya gotta wonder what else he's doing wrong.

Ebay bike looks nice, but I think the price is a little high. I used to have a bike just like it only it was blue.
Yeah... I think the FLH is a bit pricey too. But it has a few things going for it. Super clean, low miles, and this is the big one... it looks almost 100% original. If he finds someone with money to burn he might get that price. A super clean original bike is always worth a lot more then a restored bike.

The sissy bar is there, you just can't see it. :dgust:
If I remember correctly from the shovelhead forum (not ours-another site), that FLH was part of a pretty danged nice collection of showroom original shovels in On, CA.

I thought they had a 1936 knuckle with total lose oil system and then in '37 went to a general leaking but not total lose oil system? My buddies had a '37 we worked on and rode for almost 7 years til I let him ride my '72 fl and he went and traded it on the smoother ride.

here is how that 76 would look with a few good miles on it!
what a classic!

I am still wondering if the guy with the 03 fatboy still thinks it was a good investment?
Guess it was probably better than stock. :sink:
Sounds like a lot of dough for a shovel. Mine is also a '76:

All the big twin
primary chain oiling systems were total loss from 1936 to 1964. But the engine oiling was never a total loss system... at least not for 1936 and later.

I thought the oiling system was total loss untill they built the Evo. At least that is what my bike looks like after following my buddy's shovel for a while! :hyst:

I have seen that garage picture before on other Ebay pics. I recall it housing some very nice stuff.
