Title: Heads Up
Post by: rbabos on October 09, 2016, 08:28:32 AM
All ABS equipped vrods. Cut the tie wrap and inspect the rear brake line for damage caused from the right oil cooler hose crimp. Several have has this line damaged to the point of a pinhole and fluid leak and eventual rear brake loss. Several options if a problem, as simple as adding additonal protection to the brake line, like a short piece of fuel line with a length wise split to install.  I chose to convert this line to back to AN, lowering the clamp zone with a new hose and better hose guidance for clearancing for exhaust and clutch and brake lines. This is what spawned my other clamp post, searching for decent clamps. T bolt clamps on the way.
