Title: Fork Angle, FLHT
Post by: Don D on November 03, 2020, 10:49:27 AM
Looking for the built in angle for late model FLHT trees. I thought they had some negative rake built into the trees? Been too many years since I was trained by HD, cant remember, but do recall fall away was different on softail and touring models.

I do know that EVO FXST had 2 1/2 degrees more rake IN THE TREES than the FLST models. I've raked a ton of them back in the day.

I really don't know but according to RB Racing the triple clamp offset is -2.455"
But read the link for more info.

It was 3 degrees for the FLs until, what, 2009 with the new frame?
Is it safe to assume it is still 3 degrees?
