I have one works great, usually put it through the rotor then to the frame. Great conversation piece, everybody wants to know what else you use it for.

I have seen a lot of bike to bike locks.. Only takes three or four big guys to lift your bike into a van and disappear with it... I always carry a hardened cable and big nasty padlock so I can attach the bike to a light pole or other stationary object... Supposedly, bolt cutters won't work on my cable. Anyway, it can still be stolen, just requires a little more work/time which may help the thieves decide to pick an easier target... :pop:

I use a hardened disk lock ... with w big yellow streamer attached to keep me from riding off on it. I figure a pro can & will steal a bike if he wants it. Locks are to keep the casual thief from jumping on & riding off.

I've got one. I tell everyone I lock my wife to the bike, that way if they want the bike they have to take the wife too.(//)

I use Farmers Insurance.  If they take my bike, I am going to get a new one, courtesy of Farmers.  Had stuff stolen over the years, so I dont get very attached to things anymore.  If its gone, I will get a new one, no big deal.

Mike, that looks like a good lock to me.  Master is usually pretty good stuff.

if you attach it to the crash bar you might just come back later to find no bike and an unbolted, locked crash bar   best use the down tube.

My buddy has one of those and whenever we're out together he connects it to both frames.  But I'm with Dennis on this one. When my bike was stolen several years ago, I had one of those expensive Kryptonite New York lock & chain that couldn't be cut with bolt cutters, ran through the wheel and around the frame. Well, apparently the thief/thieves used a cordless angle grinder with a cutt-off wheel.  The only thing left was the cut chain where the bike had been sitting ...

when I did Sturgis with a friend, I bought 3 combo locks, set them to the same #s and interlocked them from frame to frame.  I did point the bikes in opposite directions too.

I like the looks of those, but what's with the $3500 guarantee?  If I had a Honda, it would be perfect.
