Title: Oil filter adapter 63076-09a*
Post by: blown alcohol on August 25, 2024, 12:07:07 PM
I have a 2013 Ultra cvo
Does the adapter housing for the oil cooler have a built in thermostat?
63076-09A*
ADAPTER ASSEMBLY, OIL COOLER W/ REF # 4, 13, 29, 32, 34, COVER; N/A (GRANITE)*

I want to replace stock low mount oil cooler with jagg 10 row without fan, and plan to use OEM adapter housing.
I will only need cooler, fittings, hose from Jagg

I don't know the answer but you could test with temp reading from cold to hot . Or disconnect the outlet line to cooler and oil pumps out at cold start it has no thermostat. Just a thought

I already had the oil lines and cooler off the bike. I talked to Marv at Jaggs and he said the factory adapter had a thermostat. He also said the Jagg adapter was a better upgrade vs the oil cooler swap. This weekend I will find out how hard it is to remove factory adapter.
I ordered Jagg cooler from Phil.
