Title: Crane Fireball HI-4TC...
Post by: China twin 88 on November 06, 2010, 05:39:19 PM
I have a Fireball Hi-4tc installed but have no real experience with them so I am looking for PDF's or any information (as well as the optional software) .... any opinions would be welcomed...

here's the limited instructions that come with the ignition:

thanks to another member, I was able to get a copy of the ignition maps that's on the module:

the above maps are what you get based on the perspective curve settings with the initial timing set to 5.  You can then retard the whole curve by 5 degrees or advance it 4 degrees by adjusting the initial timing.

What is the exact model, quite a few are available, 2 connector, 1 connector, etc.  The number will be in the lower right hand corner, similar to 8-3180 ?

You could need Install_hi4tc_Rev_9000-3150 , or Install_hi4tc_Rev_9000-3170 , or Install_hi4tc_Rev_9000-3180

Been reading the info from the PDFs and thanks greatly for the instruction sheet...looks like I did it right...parts are "strange" when your a "stranger" in China....When I got this bike it had a lot of evo parts on it as well as a box of new fangled gadgets ..... seems to be running fine though .. now if I can resist the urge to try and tweak it to the Dark Side....
