Title: Piston Circlip Install
Post by: q1svt on April 11, 2013, 01:12:26 PM
I've made many a tool over the years to help with a task or reduce the cost from purchasing a speciality tool...
But nothing was easier to make or cheaper ($1.00) that made the task of installing the circlips so easy!  Hats off to FSG for the tool post

That's how I installed mine, first one went right in, second one took a few tries.

I use my fingers and a small flat blade screw driver. I tried the "copper coupling tool" once and did not see any advantage but then I have been putting in wrist pin clips in for years, (decades!), with my method.
