Title: Forward Controls on a Heritage
Post by: GLFLSTCI02 on June 02, 2014, 12:51:19 PM
Can anyone tell me what range of model years of stock forward control mounts will fit the 2002 Softail frame? I am wanting to reuse my master cylinder and brake line as well.

Thanks,
Gene

On my 2000 Heritage I installed the Kuryakyn Floor board eliminator kit which gave me forward controls and used the stock master cylinder.  It came with the extended brake hose kit.

2000-2006 FXST will fit, but I doubt that you can reuse your brake line, I think it will be too short.

Thanks xlfan,
My parts manual tells me the MC and brakeline are the same for all softail models so I should be good. Now all I need to do is find some nice take offs.
