95 inch, ported heads, kurakyn domed pistons, mikuni 45 mm carb, propipe, cam suggestion for bottom end, Wild Things 26g or Mackie 590-or other options?
S&S .583
Whats your total compressed volume? Then the proper cam suggestions will come in .those kury pistons are proud in the bore 15 thou .thats the way mike designed them .for use with stock heads .are the heads you had done been cc .whats your chamber volume. And what size valves. Many cams to choose from . Tc2 g likes squeeze And makes good hp with a well flowing head for a low lift cam its impressive .but its all about what your total messured compression works out to be.
1.95 intake ---1.63 exhaust 85 cc heads, do not have flow numbers anymore
What year & model are we talking about? Gear chain drive or conversion cams?
What goals are you trying to reach all out Barn burner touring or what? How do you normally ride?
Unless the heads were set up specifically for the WT26 cams by Sachs, Rolland or Wright. I've stay away from 26s. I expect the Mackie cam or a Tman cam like the TM590 would be a good HP cam.. Want a little more lower power, go with the Crane H290.
Woods 8 is nice but you gotta get used to the rattle.. Zippers RS577 would be another good HP cam...
Finding the right pipe to make the numbers is the challenge.
Max
02 softail-already have the pro pipe with the Super Trapp diffuser conversion, gear drives of couse, this is a B motor do not want to turn it past ride line to get plenty of Torque , it is not a bar hopper.

What's the static compression and who did the heads?
CRANE 290 crane 296-2 depends how much piston to valve you have and tdc you can get away with with that bigger exhaust valve . s&s 570 but I think it over exhaust a bit but you have a tunable exhaust . if you want it to hit hard off the bottom and can get a real good tune . the 290 will get it done. torque can be very strong early . even a Andrews 54 would not be a bad application with a spot on tune
what thickness head gaskets are you running?
You need to know the compression ratio before choosing a cam.
.030 head gasket---compression was set at 10.5 to one.
what do we have for a ignition module?
Daytona Twin tech ignition, have copied several custom maps from this sight, and have one from Mike Roland.
what kind of ccp are you wanting to run and do you have compression releases. running those pistons with those chambers . and the cam suggestions that hit off the bottom . 202 to 205 ccp is what im coming up with . if you want less ccp your gonna need a cam with a later intake close or a cam with longer duration and wide lsa . gonna move the torque father up the rpm range . I run a bagger at 202 and it don't bother me a bit . but its all a give and take . all the cams suggested will hit hard off the bottom . cranes and the 54 looking the best for the light bike like that . its gonna need rear tires often lol!
heads already have the releases, 200 plus on ccp should be ok with the ignition, mikuni is jetted 22.5 low ---97 needle and 165 main jet.
Ya the dtt is a great module and tuning is strait forward once you learn the software. do get a wide band o2 sensor and a gauge for the proper air fuel ratio . and or put it on the drum for tuning its a crap shoot with jetting. pipe cam timing port flow and speed all come in to play with the way the motor pulls the fuel in . don't guess and plug chop with today's fuel is a gamble. if mike was willing to share a timing map to start with maybe he will continue to help with jetting . let us know how it turns out
thanks for help ---one other thing already have the Fueling oil pump. should I get the camsupport plate too?
no need for the plate . but I learned the hard way about the fueling pump make sure you get a baisley lm2 spring and baisleys valve . the pump makes great pressure off idle but is super low at idle even at 1000.rpm the fueling instructions say to stretch the spring 0.50 above the stock length. crappy way to build pressure . just get the correct spring 27.95 with the nice polished check valve .money well spent.
thanks.....
