FINALLY!!!! I'm glad someone is getting and trying this pipe. I've always been interested in it as well but could never find out enough about it.
Could you do me a favor and let us know what size the tubes are, if they're stepped and it'd also be great to have a video for a sound bite as well.
Good luck and I hope it turns out great. I like to look of the pipe.
What is in it for a baffle? Did it have a stepped head pipe? I was wondering about this pipe too.

They do advertise that it's stepped but it doesn't say sizes or how many steps.
as soon as i get it i will post pics and take measurements for you guys interested
the Square muffler body i think turns people away from the pipe? price tag sucks as well.
i got a nice deal through my buddy.

I'm one that likes the square muffler body. Square = more muffler volume = quieter = me happy. I also like the side by side pipe. Pro street looks. :teeth:
The head pipes are stepped from 1.75" at the exhaust ports up to 1.875" and then 2".
The 2" head pipes enter the muffler body independently and there is a 2:1 collector inside the muffler body.
The outlet baffle is 2.5". The outlet baffle is uses a spiral louver pattern.
Here is a cutaway of the muffler and baffle assembly.
Thanks Wolfe! That looks like a good recipe. The cutaway helps too! Nice
Very interesting!
I figured I'd help you guys out with info you might not be able to find. :)
I like it. Might have to give it a try.

Do you know if it's quieter than a D&D zilla?
I love to hear one
Looks like an excellent recipe for power. Cool pic too.
It is Quieter than the D&D Zilla.
Thanks Wolfe!! as i understand they are suppose to make power and not have a low end dip.
this isnt going on any high HP bike for the time being.that will change in time.

Way cool.. With a muffler like that they can make the primarys longer.

It's a little confusing to me....but it says end caps sold separately? Does it come with one at all? Black standard and chrome is separate purchase.

I might give this pipe a try too. Quieter than a zilla and the pipe specs look good on it.
I have been running this exhaust since last year and I really like it the sound is great. It's on a road glide with Andrews 57h no dyno because I have the power vision pro but feels good

Could do a video of it running and Rev it a little for us to hear one?
You can go to the S&S Web Site, look under media and jit the muffler sounds to hear the SPO sound bite.
http://www.sscycle.com/media/muffler-sounds/ (http://www.sscycle.com/media/muffler-sounds/) We don't have the 2 into 1 SPO sound bite ready yet, working on it.
The cut away you showed us. Does the muffler come with a packing around the baffle also?
Also....am I understanding the end cap correctly. If I order a pipe it doesn't include ANY end cap?
muffler has packing, end caps sold seperately. :)

Please give us a sound clip when you can. That could be an excellent system.
Too bad all I am going to do is ride and not tinker this summer.

Yes Sir will do.
Okay Update, lol!!! i bought this 2006 Ultra S/E 103 bike in middle of February.long story short the shipping company i used sucked and i just got it Yesterday.i am going to put the S&S pipe on it first part of next week.i will take some sound clips for you guys interested.i have an appointment to have it tuned April 21st unless something comes up.
the bike has S&S 510 cams in it and has been dynoed with a Power Commander V last year.i do not have the sheet on the bike but according to the Original owner it made 92-107...that was with stock head pipes and cycle shack slip ons.be interesting to see what it does with the new 2-1 S&S pipe.hope everyone has a great day and weekend,Travis
Looking forward to seeing your results. Used the D&D Fatcat on my RK, fine for around town but after a couple or three hours on the road. . .New bike needs something but it's purpose is hours and hours of mile eating.
Any updates on how this pipe works ? Sounds ? Thanks!
