Sorta depends on how you're "hotting it up" and how you intend to ride it....

What year is the bike? Makes a big difference.
Exhausts for 86-03 models have been getting discontinued left and right. All of our old favorites are history.
We have a library of XL exhaust dyno test results, you can find it here: http://www.hammerperf.com/ttxlexhaust.shtml (http://www.hammerperf.com/ttxlexhaust.shtml) . Most of those are 04+. Some will go onto an 86-03 without too much trouble, others will hit the rear master cylinder.
As you'll see in that article, the best performing pipe we've ever tested is this one: http://www.patriotpipes.com/ (http://www.patriotpipes.com/) . Lots and lots of guys have put them on 86-03 models by fabricating a lower bracket. Easier to do with mids than forwards though.

Well thanks that is just what I needed . I am actually thinking of fitting 1250 kit to a 2012 883 but by what I read 1200 heads will make more power, is that correct ?

Well, in stock form, yes. But that of course changes as they're prepared, and the performance level of the two eventually converges.
If I really get into explaining prep levels and what each is capable of, it'll sound like a sales pitch. So tell you what, give this article a read if you get a chance, it lays it all out for you with respect to converting an 883 and how to achieve any given power level in the process: http://www.hammerperf.com/883conversions.shtml (http://www.hammerperf.com/883conversions.shtml)
Well very professional one of the best sites I have ever been on . of course I would love the 110 hp package but is reasonable to ride around the city if needed?

Thanks. I wrote the site long hand. Kind of the old school way in this day and age.
I gotta stay on the right side of the rules here, so forgive me if I avoid saying too much about our stuff. But the answer to your question is yes.
Thanks very much sorry didn't mean to compromise you. I will call you and have a chat. Max
