well been buzy I put new seals and bearings in inner primary.well when had clutch out noticed a crack in hub.so went and got new inner hub. and on basket side there no holes in sides of it for oil like stock hub and basket.so wondering if I should drill some holes.i got a 1986 fxstc,i also just put Andrews cam ,lifters and s+s pushrods and tubes.just wondering does it need holes for oil on plates.got time, waiting on a new bearing befor pressing and unpressing hubs....thanks for getting back..

The basket should be slotted for the fiber plates to slide in. That's how the oil gets to the clutches. I would be very leery of drilling holes in the basket and weakening it.

I wouldn't  drill it just a place for cracks to start.
