I ran 1/8 mile last weekend with bad clutch and intermittent TPS wire issue.

I knew the clutch would be an issue, replacement pack didn't come in time.

But I had a cut TPS wire before I left that I spliced back together. Data logging showed that it was intermittently losing connection. Bike often bogged off the line, kind of like limp mode, then it would take off. I thought for sure I was totally riding like crap, which I was but couldn't have been that bad, but others heard it too. I was getting upset because I've never gotten out that slow.

I was hoping to run fast here considering I lightened the bike(converted to road king) over 40 lbs to 696 lbs with 2 gallons fuel in it, 876 lbs with geared rider.

Struggled with the 60', best 1.70s-1.90s (even over the dreaded 2s mark when it bogged, which was very often). Normally 150's-160's.
Best ET 7.02. It's been 6.85/10.85 and 6.96 when it was 40 lbs heavier. So I thought for sure should be quicker. But it definitely had issues going on.
Was hoping to pick up a 10th or two. maybe 6.7-6.8s.

MPH improved to consistent 102-104 mph when it ran good. Was 98-100 mph before. This pickup is due to airshifter with autoshift.

Anyways, poor showing. But I'll be putting the new clutch pack in this week, soldering TPS wire or buying a new one, and dialing in the airshifter programming. I am TNT this upcoming weekend. Hopefully all goes better.

And Broski is stupid fast.  :potstir:

Strongly considering it for fun. Looks like a nostalgic track. Clutch will be here soon and I’m working on wiring. Gonna tnt at Coles County Dragway this weekend. I’ll know after that if I’m going. I’ll post on fb if I am.
