Had a 2007 Dyna come in for tuning with what the customer said was a V&H FP3. This is the first V&H that that I've seen in a few years, so I'm kinda foggy. The pipe had large narrow band O2 sensors. Started to hook the bike up with my FP3 Pro and widebands, only to discover that this bike has a J1850 connection. The FP3 Pro only works with Can-Bus. Contacted V&H and the said make a run with the auto tune with the stock sensors, that they would work with that older unit. I'm not a big fan of auto tune, so I made a base run with the my wide bands reading out on the Dyno console. I wanted to make sure there were no dangerous lean areas that could do damage. There were no red flags, actually the map in the bike was pretty good, even a little fat down low. Using the auto tune, the little black square went to any cell I wanted to put it on, but no cells changed color. Did the rep (V&H website chat assistant) feed me bad info? I'd like to put a license in it and tune it with a PV. PV's are all I've been seeing for quite a while now.
